Kopi luwak coffee, also known as civet coffee, is a unique and rare type of coffee produced from the beans that have been digested and excreted by the Asian palm civet, a small mammal native to Southeast Asia. The coffee cherries are consumed by the civet, and during digestion, the enzymes in its stomach alter the beans' composition, resulting in a distinct flavor profile.
 
The appeal of kopi luwak coffee lies in its perceived exclusivity and the belief that the digestion process enhances the coffee's taste. The enzymes in the civet's digestive system are said to remove some of the bitterness from the coffee beans, resulting in a smoother and less acidic cup of coffee. Kopi luwak coffee offers unique and complex flavors that cannot be found in other coffees. Our unique blend of Robusta and Kopi Luwak grinds makes this one of the most unique flavors in our roster.
